Acceptable use

Use ExifClean only on images you own or have the right to process, and only for lawful purposes. Do not use it to attempt to deceive, defraud, or misrepresent the origin or authenticity of content.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Metadata detection and cleaning operate on the metadata layer only and may not capture every field or every generator. Invisible pixel watermarks (e.g. SynthID) are not detected or removed. We do not guarantee fitness for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. You are responsible for keeping backups of your original files.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use constitutes acceptance of the current version.
