ExifClean (“we”, “us”) is designed to respect your privacy. This policy explains what we process and why.

Your images

When you analyse or clean an image, the file is processed to read and rewrite its metadata and the result is returned to you. We do not permanently store your images, and we do not use them for any purpose other than performing the action you requested. Your original file is never modified.

Information we process

• Images you submit: processed transiently to perform the requested operation, then discarded.
• Profile data: if you save an author/copyright profile, it is stored only in your browser's local storage, never on our servers.
• Basic technical data: standard server logs (IP address, user agent) for security and abuse prevention.

Cookies and advertising

We may use cookies for essential functionality and analytics. We may also display advertising through third-party networks such as Google AdSense. These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. For visitors in the EEA/UK, ad personalisation requires consent, which is requested via a consent banner; you can decline and still see non-personalised ads.
